Mr Zebre is a French dubmaker based in Paris. Active for about ten years, he composes and mixes in hisstudio with musicians from different backgrounds, from Latin America where he spent several years (Rebel-I, Olinka, Jahshua) or from Europe (Sis I-Leen, Lasai, YT, Dan I, Masala...)
Mr Zebre has released eighteen vinyls since 2013 on the labels Rootical Attack (Fr), Patate Records (Fr), Roots Cooperation (It), Emana Sound (Fr),
I-Skankers (Fr), Indica Dubs Records (UK), Pure Niceness Records (Fr), Warrior Charge Records (It). He is currently working on several EPs and singles as well as a new album coming in 2023.
He played in a hundred sessions alongside big names in the Reggae-Dub and Sound System scene like lration Steppas, Alpha & Omega, Vibronics, Blackboard Jungle Sound System, King Earthquake, O.B.F, Weeding Dub, Zion Train, King Alpha...
Some of his tracks have been played by Jah Shaka, O.B.F, Iration Steppas, Vibronics, Channel One Sound System, Blackboard Jungle, Indica Dubs…
It is our honor and pleasure to welcome him in Czech Republic for the very first time, while we will have the chance to hear his production on the Raggaultras sound in beautiful environment of the Vinohradsky Pivovar brewery hall. Loic DeNiro, Rollandblow and the full Raggaultras crew will warm you up and keep you skanking durring this night.

LOS CULOS
As one of the few Czech bands, Los Culos devote themselves to "rock latino". From the covers of current Hispanic bands (Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, La Vela Puerca, Bersuit Vergarabat, etc.), they gradually reached their own repertoire, where Latin rhythms combine with rock energy, dynamics and sound. If you are lucky enough to understand the Spanish texts, you can enjoy lightly stoned stories about asocial agricultural workers, or learn how bullfight looks from bull point of view, or how to resist the souls of the southern landscapes, terrible slow-worms. In November 2016, Los Culos released the first author album Pichon y Pichon's.

POHŘEBNÍ KAPELA

Remarkable music brotherhood Pohřební kapela plays since 1998. They released 3 CDs ("Chlumec, Jalovec", "Poprasení" and "Hyenismus Unlimited").

Theirs style can be named as „urban folkcore" alias "folk crossover". That means czech, moravian and slovak folk songs in fast rhytm tuned in ska, punk, hip hop, folk, reggae and world music.

Pohřební kapela also played with Balkan Beat Box or Boban Markovič. They also played abroad - in Dublin, Manchester, Wroclaw and Bratislava.

JAY OTTAWAY BAND:
Bluesrock singer and guitarist Jay Ottaway continues in the music of the best of American rock songwriting - Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Band and others. He graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, then recorded several of his studio records in Nashville. He has lived in Germany for several years, where he has put together a six-member Jay Ottaway Band. Together, they recorded Jay's studio album, Carry On, which was hosted by the well-known music critic Steve Braun from Rocktimes.de on the album of the year candidate and also an live recorded album Live in Europe in 2014. At the concerts they play both their own compositions and a few immortal pieces from the works of the above mentioned giants. In Prague, the Jay Ottaway Band will be featured in a full set and full power.

Time has come for the next live Hungarian folk music and dance event, so called „tanchaz”. 21th of April you are invited to join this event where Pósfa Band is going to create a nice atmosphere. The event starts at 7pm with the children's dance and continues at 7.30 pm with dancing and a short dance class - taster. The dances will be taught by professional dancers from Folk ensemble Bartók.

Sukh started listening to vinyl and attending Dub events at a young age and described it as a life changing experience.
“Seeing the vinyl spinning, and the reactions of the crowd going crazy – especially when the bass dropped on the sound system – it changed everything, I immediately knew this was the path for me.”
Inspired by the energy, the spiritual upliftment and vibes within the Dub community, he was determined to create his own contribution and started producing his own tunes by the age of 18, with the schooling of his uncle.
With a clear goal of reaching 100 independent vinyl releases on his own label, Indica Dubs was founded and released its first vinyl in 2010 at the age of 20 and was quickly played by various Sound Systems such as Jah Shaka, King Shiloh, and Channel One. Indica Dubs has been producing some of the toughest releases and providing dubplates to his most influential sound systems. Collaborating with some of the best international Roots/Dub artists, his reputation at the forefront of the Dub scene keeps growing all over the world.
In 2011, Indica Dubs travelled to play outside of UK to play in Poland and since then has played in Brazil, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Czech Republic, Romania, Malta, Sicily, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, Italy, Croatia, France and more.
In 2015, Sukh built his own studio with the help and guidance of Dougie Conscious Sounds and Sukh’s uncle Sanj. The studio is fully equipt and available to use for singers wanting to record vocals, musicians wanting to record melodies and producers wanting to produce tracks.
In 2017, Sukh unleashed his latest project; the Indica Dubs Sound System. Sticking to the tradition, Sukh plays strictly vinyl and dubplate. The least to say about attending an Indica Dubs Sound System session is that it’s guaranteed to be a special experience with the most exclusive tunes being played straight from the Indica Dubs studio.
From strength to strength, Indica Dubs aims to continue pushing Roots/Dub music and making a positive impact on new, upcoming and young artists, and all supporters.

LACO DECZI AND CELULA NEW YORK

We are very glad, that we can welcome Laco Deczi - a worldwide famous jazzman and his band - in our club during his Fall Tour 2017.

Trumpet player, composer and band leader Laco Deczi was born in Bernolakovo (close to Bratislava, Slovakia) in 1938. In 1960's he was a member of Karel Velebny's SHQ. In 1970 he recorded his solo album "Sentimental Trumpet" with strings. As soloist he took part on the famous big band recording "Jazz Goes To Beat" by Vaclav Zahradnik.
In the end of 1967 he founded his own Jazz Celula ensemble and since the beginning of 1970 he was a member of d the Czech Radio Jazz Orchestra (JOCR).
He also made some duo recordings with the guitarist Sarka Dvorak and composed a lot of music for film and TV productions.
Since 1985 he lives in United States where he is a leader of the "Jazz Cellula International".
Laco has performed throughout the United States with a roster of jazz the finest musicians, among them: Elvin Jones, Bill Watrous, Junior Cook, Dave Weckl, Sonny Costanzo, just to name a few.

GravelRoad (USA) Tour - in support of their sixth album "Capitol Hill Country Blues" (Knick Knack Records)

GravelRoad
GravelRoad is a Seattle band that blends the rhythm of North Mississippi Hill Country blues with the fuzz and power of heavy rock and roll.
Their mix of rolling, driving rhythms of the bass and drums and heavy guitar sounds range from minute-long fits of angst to slow and methodical psychedelic tracks. “Rabbit Run” and “Rather Be Lonely” give followers a sense of the familiar from the veteran band. Conversely the band pushes boundaries on Capitol Hill Country Blues songs such as the Krautrock-inspired instrumental “Green Lungs” and the album’s finale “I Feel High”, a stunningly beautiful solo acoustic track.
GravelRoad has proven itself worthy of attention when they were hand-picked by the legendary T-Model Ford to be his backing band. They collaborated with him since 2008 until his death at the age of 92 in 2013. This partnership thrived through 9 U.S. & international tours and 2 critically acclaimed albums. 2010 saw the release of the all-acoustic The Ladies Man and in 2011 Taledragger, a mind-bending trip through electrified and psychedelic blues. T-Model Ford & GravelRoad were honored to play the All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in 2010 in New York as a choice of the always amazing American Independent filmmaker Jim Jarmusch.
Music has given to GravelRoad. We wish to give back, over and over.

Blueswan is an enthusiastic power trio, drawing its inspiration from the classic Delta blues and 1960s rock. It repertoire, consisting of mainly original material, however, tends to expand freely and widely from blues and country through garage rock and pop to psychedelic hard-rock. This whole fusion is imbued with an innocent joy of making music which the whole band wishes to transfer to the audience.
